Yes, spot on. It is not enough to simply demand of our leaders to declare climate emergency. We each have to act like we're living in an emergency. It's called an ethic of shared responsibility for the climate. Each of us must do what we can AND demand more of others, esp. those in power. Ultimately, it is about coming into proper relationship: with ourselves, our others, and our world. It's gonna be hard. But we're built for this. We're wired for it. Thanks!
